CanvasBTTerms of Service
Last updated: July 2026. These Terms govern the CanvasBT app, the CanvasBT e-paper frame and the canvasbt.co.uk store, provided by Inventors Tech Ltd (registered in the United Kingdom). Please have these reviewed before launch.

2. Eligibility & use
To use CanvasBT you must be at least 13, use a compatible device, enable Bluetooth, and have internet access for online features. You agree not to misuse the app or device, reverse-engineer the software, upload unlawful content, or interfere with Bluetooth communication.
3. Consumer rights (UK/EU)
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a product that is as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and to remedies if it's faulty. These Terms do not limit your statutory rights.
4. Purchases & payment (store)
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT. A contract forms when we confirm your order. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Delivery, returns and warranty are covered on our Shipping, Returns and Warranty pages, which form part of these Terms.
5. Image processing & ownership
Your images are processed locally and sent to your frame via encrypted Bluetooth. The frame stores up to three images; a fourth overwrites the current one. You keep full ownership of your images and grant us only a limited licence to process them to deliver the app.
6. AI generation & third-party libraries
Optional AI generation is powered by OpenAI; image libraries by Pexels and Pixabay. Using them means your prompt/search is sent to those services under their terms. We don't store your prompts or generated images.
7. Bluetooth, firmware & availability
The app connects via Bluetooth Low Energy; performance varies by device and proximity. We may provide optional firmware updates; some may change features or briefly affect availability.
8. Intellectual property
All CanvasBT trademarks, branding, software and hardware designs are owned by Inventors Tech Ltd. You retain ownership of images you create or upload.
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to break the law or infringe others' rights, gain unauthorised access, degrade the service with automated tools, upload unlawful content, or reverse-engineer the software. We may restrict access where misuse is detected.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK/EU law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for third-party outages (OpenAI, Pexels, Pixabay). The service is provided "as is" and "as available".
11. Termination & changes
You may stop using the service any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend access for breach. We may update these Terms and will notify you of significant changes.
